Inventory May Be Missing
Furniture, boxes, storage, garage items and fragile items can change shipment size if they were not included.
Moving estimate review
A low moving estimate is not automatically wrong. The real question is whether the price matches the inventory, shipment size, services, access details and written terms. If those details are missing, the number may not tell the full story.
Furniture, boxes, storage, garage items and fragile items can change shipment size if they were not included.
Cubic feet or weight should make sense for the home size and inventory described in the estimate.
Packing, stairs, elevator access, long carry, shuttle, storage or specialty items may not be included unless written clearly.
Look for the inventory list, cubic feet or weight, route, pickup window, delivery expectations and service level. If the estimate only shows a price, ask for the details behind it.
Two quotes can look different because one includes packing, more cubic feet, storage or access charges while another does not. Compare the same inventory and same services.
Review the deposit amount, refund language, cancellation language and final payment instructions before you book.
Ask the company to explain in writing what would cause the final price to change, especially if the inventory or shipment size changes on pickup day.
Upload or paste the quote you received so Mike can review the details and help you understand what to ask before you book.
The main concern is whether the quote includes the full inventory, correct shipment size and all services needed for the move.
Final charges can change if the actual move differs from the estimate, such as added items, added services or different access conditions. Review the written terms carefully.
Before paying, review the company identity, inventory, services, charges, deposit language and cancellation terms so you know what you are agreeing to.
